Ariane Hettenkofer started specializing in Economic and Intellectual Property Law already during her law studies at university. She has gathered comprehensive experience in domestic and international trademark, company and domain name law and has been in charge of a number of significant trademark portfolios for clients over the last years.
Her particular strengths lie in strategic counselling in the course of trademark development and name finding processes, in the worldwide prosecution of trademarks and in counselling and litigating trademark, design and unfair trade practices matters. She is an expert in trademark and company name searches as well as in the coordination and reporting of collision watch data.
As an attorney at law, she is admitted to practice before all courts of first and second instance throughout Germany as well as before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), the German Patent Court, the European Patent Office (EPO), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Court of First Instance (CFI) and the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
