Business card (VCF)

After several years of legal research at the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law in Munich, Jürgen Kroher has practiced IP law in all of its aspects – starting with a management position in industry and since 1995 as founding partner of our law firm. His extensive experience helps him identify the key issues, and is paired with his ability to make these issues comprehensible to clients.

His expertise is much sought-after, particularly in patent, trademark and design litigation, as well as in avoiding disputes and in devising trademark and licensing strategies.

Jürgen is a certified IP specialist and represents his clients in German courts, the General Court of the EU and the European Court of Justice, as well as the IP offices.

He has published extensively on German, European and international law on patents, trademarks, copyright and competition and has been invited to speak at the CEIPI in Strasbourg, the M.B.L. Program at St. Gallen University, at WIPO and other institutions all over the world. Jürgen has been chair of the Bavarian Section of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) since 2002 and has taught at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) since 2003.

In the current version of the World Trademark Review WTR 1000 2022 Jürgen Kroher is ranked with the following laudatory words:

"The extremely talented trademark litigator and strategic adviser is much appreciated for his thorough and pragmatic approach in complex matters."
