Attorney at Law
Katharina Bach developed her special interest in intellectual property and copyright law during her law studies at the universities of Passau and Munich. She gathered first practical experience in trademark and unfair competition law during her articling stage, part of which she spent at a US law firm in San Francisco.
Since being admitted to the bar in 2004, she has worked in law firms with intellectual property law expertise and was able to broaden her know-how in trademark matters as well as in unfair competition, copyright and media law.
Katharina Bach is responsible for the world-wide prosecution of trademark applications and oppositions, trademark availability search and analysis, collision monitoring and the enforcement or defence of claims in the fields of trademark, unfair competition, copyright and media law.
As an attorney at law, Katharina Bach is admitted to practice before all courts of first and second instance throughout Germany as well as before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), the German Patent Court, the European Patent Office (EPO), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), the World Intellectual Prop-erty Organization (WIPO), the European Court of First Instance (CFI) and the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
