Attorney at Law
Sigurd Quasbarth has acquired many years of experience in both the consumer and capital goods industry. Following his activities as in-house counsel for a German car manufacturer, he became director of the legal department of a large multi-national plant and machinery company.
He is a specialist in German and European antitrust and competition law. He focuses on German law of sales and distribution and on matters and issues related to other member states of the European Union. His experience in contract law includes large contracts for work and services, turnkey contracts and the specific requirements of general terms and conditions under German Law.
As an attorney at law, he is admitted to practice before all courts of first and second instance throughout Germany as well as before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), the German Patent Court, the European Patent Office (EPO), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Court of First Instance (CFI) and the European Court of Justice (ECJ).
Sigurd Quasbarth is fluent in English, French and also in Spanish.
