After studying biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Hamburg, and scientific work at the Bernhard-Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine and at the University of Oxford, Solveig Moré has been engaged in intellectual property in renowned patent law firms since 2003, joining Kroher Strobel in 2018.

Her long-standing experience and the technical expertise in biotechnology and chemistry, in particular in biochemistry, molecular biology and immunology, as well as in pharma, diagnostics and for medical applications, allow her to provide well-founded strategic advice to her clients.

One focus of Solveig’s work lies in preparing patent applications and international, European and German filings and prosecution, as well as coordinating prosecution in other countries. Solveig directly represents her clients before the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court, and, for international patent applications, before the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

She also provides comprehensive advice to her clients in freedom-to-operate analyses, with regard to patent infringement and validity of third party patent rights, as well as in opposition proceedings and for filing Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC). She has particular experience in counselling scientific institutes, universities and start-up companies.
