Katharina Bach has been practicing IP law since 2004. During this time she has acquired extensive experience, with a focus on trademark, design and copyright law.
Katharina advises clients primarily on creating and managing trademark portfolios. Besides trademark filings, she conducts searches, represents clients in opposition, cancellation and revocation proceedings and provides global trademark monitoring services. In addition, she drafts and negotiates delimitation, coexistence and license agreements. In court, she asserts trademark and competition law claims for clients and defends them against third-party infringement allegations. Furthermore, Katharina conducts seizure procedures in the battle against product piracy.
Her legal expertise also includes advising right holders and individuals working in the arts on copyright law. She offers these clients guidance in all legal and practical aspects, for example in drafting contracts.
Katharina represents her clients at IP authorities, German courts, the General Court of the EU and the European Court of Justice.
